ENG Dirtworks Services
Standing water, washouts and soggy yards are more than a nuisance. We grade, ditch, pipe and stabilize your property so water goes where it should.
About This Service
Houston-area rain can turn a good property into a problem fast. ENG Dirtworks finds where water is collecting and why, then builds the swales, culverts, drains and ponds to move it off your land.
From a single problem spot in the yard to detention ponds and storm drains for new development, we design for real-world storms and stabilize slopes so the fix lasts.

FAQ
Why does water stand in my yard?
Usually it comes from grading that slopes the wrong way, compacted clay soil, or runoff with nowhere to go. We look at how water moves across your property and fix the cause, not just the symptom.
What is the difference between a detention and retention pond?
A detention pond holds stormwater temporarily and releases it slowly, while a retention pond holds water permanently. Many new developments are required to include one.
Can you replace a crushed culvert under my driveway?
Yes. We remove the old pipe, set a properly sized culvert at the right grade, and rebuild the driveway crossing over it.
How do you stop erosion on a slope?
Depending on the slope, we use regrading, silt fence, rock, erosion control blankets and vegetation to hold the soil in place.

“I can not say enough great things about this company, the employees and the owner. The hospitality and customer service is top tier, they are very knowledgeable and explain every step to you. The work was phenomenal, the crew arrived on time and immediately went to work. The crew took the time to protect my property with tarping and other measures prior to starting. Once finished the cleanup was better than they found it. The work that was done was explained and pointed out to me visually. I would recommend ENG to any and everyone.”

“This company blew all the other ones out of the water - better communication was the most important to me. Handling everything including the insurance company. They are also efficient and thorough in their work. It was just an all around great experience.”

“Mike is so awesome to work with, and I highly recommend him if you’re looking for a great, honest guy who knows what he’s doing, will treat you right, and will be there for you for the long haul. I used him a while back to replace some shingles and inspect my roof after a storm, and he did a great job then. I contacted him over two years later on the off chance he still had repair documentation that I could give to the folks buying my house, and he had it located and to me in less than five minutes and was just as friendly and helpful as before. Amazing service! They don’t make ‘em like him anymore!”
